Ronald Reagan Field Trip
Last Tuesday we went on a field trip to the Ronald Reagan Library and it was very fun. We saw lots of cool stuff. We got to go in Air force One and Marine One. They both were very cool. We also got to see a portrait of President Reagan made out of jelly beans. We got to guess who many jelly beans were in the portrait. There was 10,000 jelly beans in the portrait. That’s a lot!!
More pictures from our awesome field trip to the Reagan Library can be found on the homepage of our website: http://msfargotls.weebly.com/

Michael's World Cup Kahoot
We got to play the World Cup Kahoot that Michael made and it was a lot fun… but also pretty hard! One question was, “Who won the world cup in 2014?” Kahoot is fun and educational, but sometimes the questions are very hard. We can’t wait to play Logan’s Kahoot next!

CodingThis week is Computer Science week and we are all taking turns going to the Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten classes and helping them code on their iPads. Our class is participating in the Hour of Code and we are also using a BB-8 Sphero. It is so much fun and allows us to apply our new skills. ScienceOn Monday we started chapter 4 in Science. Chapter 4 is about Earth’s Water. Did you know that 70% of the Earth is ocean water? The other 30% is land. Esperanza RisingWe are now on chapter 8 of Esperanza Rising. In this chapter, Esperanza has to sweep the wooden platform. Esperanza also had to watch Isabel and her two siblings, Lupe and Pepe, when her Mama went to work in the sheds. Along with reading, we are making our very own yarn dolls. They are going to be just like the one that Esperanza’s mama made for a little girl on the train. Math TestOn Thursday, we are going to have a math test on Module 2 and we are going to start Module 3 very soon. The math test should be pretty easy because the module wasn’t that hard. Hopefully Module 3 is pretty easy just like Module 2. Book FairLast Friday the book fair opened and it has a lot of cool stuff. Wednesday it is family fun night. It is from 5:30-8:30. Kona Ice will be there with new flavors. The book fair closes this Friday. Pajama DayOn December 18th we will be having a winter breakfast and a white elephant gift exchange. It is also pajama day. In the afternoon we will be watching Inside Out if everyone's parents sign a permission slip and say that it is okay. We are really excited.
